How to Grow
The XLU$IVE GROWS beginner-to-harvest guide

01
Stage
Germination
3–10 Days
Start your seeds in a damp paper towel inside a sealed bag kept at 70–85°F. Once the taproot shows (~1/4 inch), plant in final pot with your preferred light soil mix. Keep humidity high (70–80%) can use a humidity dome and minimal light. Don't overwater — just keep the medium moist.
02
Stage
Seedling Stage
2–3 Weeks
Your seedling will push its first true fan leaves. Use a gentle light (18/6 schedule) and keep temps 70–77°F. Water sparingly around the seedling, not on top of it. Don't feed nutrients yet — seedling soil has everything it needs. Watch for damping off (stem rot) from overwatering.
03
Stage
Vegetative Growth
4–8 Weeks
This is where the plant builds its structure. Light schedule stays 18/6. Introduce nutrients (nitrogen-heavy for veg). Start training techniques: LST, topping, or FIMing to increase yields. Transplant up as roots fill the pot. Aim for a bushy, even canopy going into flower.
04
Stage
Flowering
8–11 Weeks
Switch to 12/12 light to trigger flower for photoperiod strains (autos flower automatically). Shift nutrients to phosphorus and potassium-heavy. Watch trichomes closely with a jeweler's loupe. Clear = not ready. Milky white = peak THC. Amber = more relaxing effect.
05
Stage
Harvest, Dry & Cure
3–8 Weeks Post-Chop
Flush the plant with plain water 1–2 weeks before harvest. Chop, wet trim if desired, then hang dry in a dark room at 60–70°F with 50–60% humidity for 7–14 days. trim and place buds in jars (grove bags for easy curing). Burp jars daily during the cure. A proper cure dramatically improves flavor, smoothness, and potency.
Pro Tips from X$V
Lessons from the grows
VPD matters
Vapor Pressure Deficit controls how well your plant transpires. Get a VPD chart and dial in your temp/humidity combo at each stage.
Less is more with nutes
Most beginners overfeed. Start at 50% of recommended dosage and work up. Deficiencies are easier to fix than nutrient burn.
pH is everything
Soil: 6.0–6.8. Hydro/coco: 5.8–6.5. Incorrect pH locks out nutrients even if they're present. Invest in a reliable pH pen.
Document your grow
Log every feeding, watering, and training move. When something goes wrong (and it will), your notes are how you fix it next time.
Don't rush the cure
A 60-day cure on average bud beats a 7-day cure on premium bud every time. Terpenes develop in the jar. Don't skip this step.
